J-Pop

The name of this chair is indicative of its influences.
J, for Japan, as it is reminiscent of a chair typical to Japanese aesthetic and POP due to the colorful and decorative fabric in which it is dressed.
It is essentially like dressing a dog. It does not actually need to be dressed, however, we choose to ‘load’ it in clothing in order to make our lives more beautiful and colorful.
The same thing occurs in the case of the chair’s wooden frame.
It does not, in itself, need colorful fabrics in order to appear more beautiful. We, on the other hand, insist on dressing it in blossoming floral fabrics.
