A couch-bench with the name EUCLID is naturally indicative of geometry.
Nevertheless, in this particular case we are referring to a piece of furniture, one that was simply placed on the ground and remained in that position forever.
We don’t change it, we don’t disturb it; we simply enhance and add different elements to it in order for it to take its final shape.
The couch-bench may well have been composed of one leg on top of which a straight plank would be placed along with a pillow. This, however, did not occur.
Euclid envisioned that the entire cushion itself be shaped into a triangle and placed on top of the lopsided wooded plank, in order for the couch to gain its desirable straight line.
